Doc Would Be Proud

So heartwarming to hear these songs played by these fine musicians. They all knew Doc Watson, and toured with him, recorded with him and picked and grinned with him. That joy and emotion is front and center in this recording. Yes, Doc would be proud of these boys. I can almost hear him say approvingly "Yeah" during each song.

Great New Album & New Sound!

These guys are awesome! It's a record that left me wondering if I had just heard some new type of modern bluegrass that refuses to be defined. It is a smooth, easy sound that uses instruments I've never heard in any other band!

Ready for the Times

It's great to hear these three masters playing some tunes that Doc Watson transformed in the first place. Sutton, Holt and Coleman take them further. Ready for the Times is hypnotic. More please!
