Where's the movie

Combine the TWO!!

It's difficult to believe that the producers of this soundtrack really believe that we'll buy TWO versions in order to get the full movie score/soundtrack. Look at October Sky--we had the full experience there. The problem is that while Isham's score is lush and beautiful, it's not enough to fill up an album.

So, hey all you suits up there in music land--I'll buy ONE complete album of the movie 42, but not TWO.

Rant over, the music fits the movie, enhances it (even if it was a bit overscored), and was a good fit. Maybe someday, if they release a complete soundtrack/score, I'll buy it. But not now.

Contrary to what others may think - I think that this is a great score. The music is super - helping to carry on the work of Mark Isham. Great music that fits the movie perfectly.
