Love this debut album!!!

Rebecca Frazier does an amazing job on her long-awaited debut album. Bluegrass is a genre that is very hard to break into being that there are already so many talented artists, who have been at this for a long time. Rebecca manages to break into the scene, bringing her own flare to the genre. Her voice is very pure and her melodies are interesting and unique. If I was asked to describe her, I would have to say she is a slight mixture between Alison Krauss and John Denver. Some of the highlight tracks for me are "Human Highway" which is the opening track. The lyrics are minimal in this track, and are repeated throughout the song, accompanied by flawless musical interludes, and a killer mandolin solo. The title track "When We Fall" is very emotional, and I would say highlights her vocal abilities more than any other track on the album. You can really feel the question in her voice on this track. "Morning & Night" and "Walk This Road" are the two sappy love songs on the album. "Walk this Road" is a bit slower, and allows the listener to tap into the depth more easily. However, "Morning & Night" is happy and upbeat and brings out a more immediate emotion. "Love, Go Away From This House" has a halftime feel/rhythm that differentiates it from the feel of the rest of the tracks. It is the darkest track by far, but has a lot of soul and almost a little bit of blues influence in it. Overall, this album takes you on a journey of highs and lows of the artist. You really can feel her emotions and tap into them with her. Every single track on this album serves a unique purpose, and there aren't any "filler" tracks. I would certainly recommend this album for purchase!
