Fever Ray has been a great friend!

Gay guy here who dated someone for about 7 years. We would go far into the woods, high up into the mountains and we would fish and explore and really enjoy the peaceful drive each time. This album made the drives that would already be magical so much more than can be explained!
Thank you for such great tunes and please make more like this! :>

I must say, I feel like I've found a real gem. Excellent music. Reminds me of Deep Forest, Kate Bush, Massive Attack, all of which were my very favorites and I would listen to them on a loop over and over again and never get tired of it. This music puts me in a very meditative mood and unleashes my imagination. Puts me in a good mood and clears my mind like I've had hit the reset button. I've heard "Keep the streets empty for me" song on the TV show Bones (2011) immediately Shazam-ed it and downloaded it, then out of curiosity sampled the other songs and was very surprised to find out I knew another song as well from this album , "If I had a heart", which I recognized immediately as the "Vikings" (2015) theme song, a very dark one. So, I was like okay, there are 2 songs really good, but as I carried on sampling the songs, every one of them I liked. It is so rare, that you find an album on which you like every song. Beautiful voices and exquisitely beautiful music. I'm just so glad I've found this gem.

great album

Fever Ray began after the Knife finished their promotional duties for their 2006 album Silent Shout and Dreijer had her second child; she worked on demos and song ideas by herself, then collaborated with producer Christoffer Berg, who had mixed the Knife's music. Word of the project surfaced during the summer of 2008 and the first...
