Album Review

With their second major-label album, Master of Styles, the thrash-funk-metal band the Urge have created their most accomplished and effective album to date. Not only is the Urge's ambitious material their finest to date, but they have accurately captured their pile-driving, overwhelming live sound, resulting in a visceral, exciting listen unlike anything in the band's catalog.

Shockingly Different in a GREAT way!!!!

A cross between 311 and Reel Big Fish with an edge. If you are lucky enough to hear a band such as The Urge and realize that their music is intelligent, different, and altogether wonderful to listen to you should count your blessings. Best songs: "Played Out", "Closer", "Going Down", "Jump Right In. This sophmore debut is better than their first effort but check out their debut album, make sure to listen to "Take Away" and "Brainless".

It's Getting Hectic

Those songs are good but there are many more to consider. Don't forget to listen to "It's Getting Hectic" in addition to the songs mentioned above. This track is like a roller coaster.
