Ma's Stuff

This album was among my ma's favorite while growing up. She'd throw on the record (trax on wax) on while doing housework and sing along to every song, eventually it became a staple within our family. Along with Alice Cooper, the Ramones, The Doors, and GnR, these guys where among my introduction to Rock and Roll. The songs on this album are of course the greatest hits and leave out a few great songs that didn't receive the air time they should have received. I can hear some of their influence in many of the bands I listen to today, Clutch, Gaslight Anthem, Foxy Shazam, etc. IMO this band is what rock and roll should be and has received far less recognition than they are entitled to even if the tracks are a bit slow.

oh yeah

Yes these guys are the original group that made this song..How can ya not like it...matter of fact about four weeks( not exactly sure) after this song aired...well they got themselves on the cover of the Rolling Stone 8).

i like "cover of the rolling stone"

which everbody probably does. im nto sure if these guya are the original makers of the song tho. its got variety to it ;) even tho these guys are prolly old 0.o
