iTunes Review

“We all came to watch your world as it burns”. The words billow from “Copper Colored Quiet”, the album’s closer, like clouds of smoke. If I’m the Devil… moves with malicious intent, using pulse-racing punk, alt-metal and atmospheric nooks to torch the justice system (“Good Mourning America”) and raise righteous hell (“Another Offensive Song”). Vocalist Jason Butler has the shredded throat of Linkin Park’s Chester Bennington and Rage Against the Machine’s Zack de la Rocha, meshing power and political polemics with furious anger.

I hope this is just a dream... or nightmare

This is seriously the most dissapointing release of the decade. Its absolutely generic radio garbage. RIP LL.

Where is the energy?

Was excited for another LL album and was very hopeful with the early released tracks.

Sadly once I was able to hear the rest of the album I was less than excited. The songs are not terrible exactly but this is pretty much a completely different band. The high energy in your face style from the previous albums is missing from this.

I will continue to give this a listen and hope it grows on me but for now I'm sad to say this album let me down.

ll. never disappoints

with every song that comes out, i know for a fact that i made the right choice pre-ordering.
