iTunes Review

The hard-hitting Nashville outfit follow-up the successful Until We Have Faces with Release the Panic. Produced by Howard Benson (Daughtry, My Chemical Romance, Bon Jovi), the new album pits their melodic sensibilities against passionate aggression and the results are glorious on "Perfect Life." Here vocalist Mike Barnes rages against false hopes and dreams with a stinging clarity. The full-length album is available to pre-order now.

Sadly not that great.

I only like 3 songs on this album, they should never have gone with that publisher. He hid all the good stuff and made it sound like "pop". The 3 songs I like are Perfect Life because it's catchy. Die for you is another but only for that same reason. The one I really like is not even rock, it's Death of Me (Guillotine Remix) which is very techno or electronic (whatever you want to call it). So yeah, all in all, bad album.

??? is this the RED i know???

I'm not as happy with this album as with the others. I like RED but listing to "release the panic" and "perfict life" for the first time when I first heard about this album back in November made me disappointed. The only songs I like is the acoustic version of "breath into me" and "hold me now." When I first heard the two songs "release the panic",and "perfict life" I hoped that it would of only been those two songs that will be disappointing but it turns out this whole album is not that good.

Heard a preview of the dubstep remixes, super excited for that! :)

Christian-based post-grunge outfit Red first got their start in Pennsylvania playing contemporary Christian covers to area youth groups. They soon grew tired of pop songs, however, and began crafting their own hard-edged rock tunes that often confronted personal issues from their lives. According to lead singer Mike Barnes, the name Red was chosen as a symbol "for the blood of Christ and what it represents: passion, pain, but ultimately, redemption." Comprised of Barnes, Jasen Rauch (guitar), Hayden...
