Amazing Album!

I've been following The Mess since their first album (which was also amazing).. They take it to a whole new level in this album.. You immediately get the sense of a more mature band!! Red Skies Ahead is filled with great rock, powerful lyrics and like most songs penned by Mike Gross - songs that you want to sing out from the top of a roof somewhere! Can't wait to see all that The Mess has in-store for us in the future!

Great Album!

I accidentally stumbled on this band back a few years ago with Song of Healing and I must say this is a great second album for The Mess (formerly Novice).
While some of these songs aren't amazing, the great songs on here (such as Anchors II and Oceans) are so much better and so much more mature than anything that I found on Songs for Healing. So for me, while the tracks on Songs for Healing were consistent on their quality and significance to me, this album shows a lot of positive growth and a new level of talent and uniqueness that I have only seen from The Mess.
Incredible work guys, this is perhaps one of my favorite albums of all time and this is after only a couple days of listening to it. The future is bright.

Best unknown band

Loved these guys since I found them halfway through their "Novice phase". I don't get why these guys aren't huge by now after their amazing hits with Novice. Gotta be their manager or something that doesn't know anything about marketing....either way great to see they're keepin it on. Makes it fun to tell people about my #1 fave band that they've never heard about with such a great sound. Thanks to The Mess!
