murky garage rock madness!!!!

After Good Bad Not Evil's relatively cleaned up sound, the lips dive back into the murk of yesteryear with this release. Once again every tune drips with sweat and catchiness, from rave-ups like Take My Heart and Short Fuse to moodier tracks like Old Man and Trapped in a Basement, as well as more off the wall weirdo tracks like the Drop I Hold and I saw God. And even if I'll Be With You sounds just like Dirty Hands, the Lips manage to make it work. Also the hidden track (Meltdown) at the end destroys!!!
