iTunes Review

Busta’s solo debut makes a strong case for the rapper being New York’s most captivating stylist. The Coming sets an ominous scene—“Everything Remains Raw” flips a Miles Davis sample into a disorienting lurch, and the silver-tongued MC swerves and staggers through it with demented grace. His delivery thrills at every turn: the titular yelp on the neck-snapping “Woo Hah!! Got You All in Check” is all fun-house mirror rhymes. It’s rap’s Drunken Master, an absurdist slapstick kung fu marathon.

When this album came out in the 90's it was fire and it still is. Nothing better than hearing a veteran artist like busta's 1st solo album to hear how hungry for fame he was. Best cd he ever made by far. Nothing but charisma and free spirit in this one. IF YOU DON'T HAVE THIS ALBUM YET THEN BUY IT AS FAST AS YOU CAN AND RESCUE YOURSLEF FROM 2DAYS CRAPPY HIP HOP!!!!!

Busta's Finest Hour

Busta has many quality releases, but only 1 classic. And here it is. No need to get long-winded here. This album is one of the best hip-hop releases ever. Busta is a lyrical beast on this album. It's surprisingly sad how far his star has fallen since...This disc is fire, can ya dig?

A True disciple of Hip Hop. Funk oozes from his oversized nostrils. Busta brings an energy to Hip Hop that is unmatched. This is his best work without question!

The most idiosyncratic personality in rap and possessor of its most recognizable delivery, a halting, ragga-inspired style with incredible complexity, inventiveness, and humor, Busta Rhymes formed Leaders of the New School in 1990 and released two albums with the group before breaking out with a 1996 solo hit single, "Woo-Hah!! Got You All in Check." Born in East Flatbush, Brooklyn, in 1972 of Jamaican heritage (a definite influence on his rapping style), Busta moved to Long Island in 1983 and,...
