This is literally going to change lives.
SO freaking amped for this sound. Head bobs. Insta-caught-in-the-head jam city.

Joseph has evolved so much over the last few years and this album will show for it! They are gonna rock the world with amazing vocals and harmonization! White Flag is such a fun catchy song that has great meaning behind it!

Peeing My Pants with Anticipation

I've never been so excited for an album release in my life. Every time I've seen these lovely people perform live (we won't talk numbers here, because the peeing confession was enough for one review), their beautiful voices and souls have moved me to tears. TO TEARS. Their music is a whimsical salve, is what.

About Joseph

Named after a small town in northeast Oregon, indie folk act Joseph comprises a trio of sisters who hail from Portland. Eldest sister Natalie Closner initially began touring as a solo singer/songwriter before recruiting younger twin sisters Meegan and Allison to form a proper band. With their bewitching close harmonies and sophisticated yet rustic sound, they bear a resemblance to similarly minded sister acts like Sweden's First Aid Kit and English trio the Staves. Their debut album, Native, Dreamer, Kin, was released in early 2014. Before long, they were approached by Dave Matthews' ATO Records, who signed Joseph in 2015. After co-writing some of their new material with Ethan Gruska (the Belle Brigade) in Los Angeles, they headed to Omaha to record their label debut with producer Mike Mogis (Conor Oberst, Jenny Lewis). Released in the summer of 2016, I'm Alone, No You're Not expanded on the band's folk-inspired sound, introducing lush new pop textures. Stay Awake, a seven track EP, followed in 2017. ~ Timothy Monger
