Heaven in harmony

I'm surprised this is not reviewed, as I was stunned by this album. I first heard Claire on Bluegrass radio, and she was one of those artists that makes you come in from the other room, saying, "Who is that?" She has the rare voice that is as memorable as it is resonant. and Claire harmonizes with all your best emotions. It will keep rising to the top of your CD case, or Ipod, like cream for my Grandma's coffee. Well worth the listen.

Heart and Soul Win Again

I was just introduced to this album a short while ago. As each selection played, I was reminded again why I love and loved bluegrass so much. Every song and every vocal is soaked in emotion of amazing depth, and delivered with such integrity and grace that the listener feels as though Claire Lynch is singing directly to them. This collection of music has the passion of a mother's love, delivered with the same gentle urgency that any of "life's lessons" is passed from one soul to another. A brilliant and unforgetable work of art.
