Love Sippie Wallace

What a voice!! This album is awesome. Hard to believe the quality of this recording!! The first time I heard Sippie was on a Bonnie Raitt album, she was much older on that album. If you love blues, this is fantastic. Great Piano too!!!

Women Be Wise

This is great blues and I believe Sippie Wallace's best. Her voice is better than when she was younger and much stronger than her later years.

A classic female blues singer from the '20s, Wallace kept performing and recording until her death. She was a major influence on a young Bonnie Raitt, who recorded several of Wallace's songs and performed live with her.
