At last, a classic Milsap album available once again.

I have labored many hours mastering this LP -- Images -- because, being out of print, the only way to get this album on digital format was to convert from a vinyl copy. My copy was slightly warped on SIde 2, making Hi-Heel Sneakers an adventure in how far I could dampen the stylus so it wouldn't go flying in the air like a roller coaster ride. I also attempted getting rid of the clicks and pops. I've been playing this album for years now on my music players and I enjoy it very much.

Well, imagine my surprise, when casually browsing on iTunes, to see this album listed in the Ronnie Milsap catalog! No matter I had already mastered this LP, I had to have the digital copy. It sounds great, the bass is much firmer than the vinyl transfer, and I can hear little things I never heard before. This album was Ronnie's release for 1979, so there's the disco influence in two of the tunes; a few ballads in the light pop vein that Ronnie was venturing into, but there's Country there, too. I love all the songs, but especially the hits, and the non-single All Good Things Don't Have To End. I have a soft spot for In No Time At All probably because it reminds me of his 1977 hit It Was Almost Like A Song. In short, a fabulous album, and now if the others would be released: Milsap Magic, Out Where The Bright Lights Are Glowing, Only One Love In My Life, There's No Getting Over Me, etc.

I highly recommend this album, and if you're a Milsap fan like me, you gotta grab this one!
