iTunes Review

Back in the late '90s, New Orleans native Juvenile was blowing up huge. Already popular in the South, he had several gigantic singles (most notably "Ha" and "Back That Azz Up") that introduced America to his unique and wobbly flow, as well as to Mannie Fresh's futuristic bounce production. The breakout star of Cash Money Records (who'd quickly dethrone Master P and No Limit as King of the South), Juve was also part of the Hot Boys supergroup, alongside BG, Turk, and a young Lil Wayne. Unfortunately, his last big hit ("Slow Motion") dropped in 2002, and in the following decade his profile has dipped significantly. Regardless, he still sounds great on the aptly titled Rejuvenation, his 10th solo album and his best, most complete work in several years. Mannie Fresh is back in the mix, producing five of the 14 tracks, while guest stars include Rick Ross (the lead single, "Power"), Z-Ro & Trae Tha Truth ("Fall Back"), and UTP ("Still Here"). It's a welcome return to form from a Dirty South legend. Don't miss "Mardi Gras" and "Toast to the Good Life."

Good to see my boy Juve back @ it! That Fresh/Juve connection takes me back to the real Cash Money sound. Welcome back Fresh, nice album!!!

Not bad for being middle aged Juve!

400 Degreez was epic for it's time, and Reality Check is still on my bumpin list. Juve, like other former Cash Money artists, tends to have epic songs inbetween "filler". This album has some filler, but it's nice to have him back with Mannie Fresh! I'm actually a fan of his crew Wacko and Skip (I'm one of the maybe 3 people that has heard of them I think) but their features on here are only decent. My Favs after 2 listens: Power, Can't Stop My Money, and Ain't What You Want.

Juvenile + Mannie Fresh = Classic Album

This is definitely a classic for Juvenile's catalog. All the Mannie Fresh joints GO HARD. It provides that old school Cash Money vibe that we all loved and it details on how Juvenile still got the skills to drop Hits in 2012. Plus all the outside camp features are BANGERS!!! 10 out of the 14 Tracks are Must Haves and worth Downloading. Getting the Album for 9.99 is worth it for the few extras. Good Job Juve!!!!!

I'm Going to bang this in the Denali for the next few weeks!!!

Born: March 26, 1975 in New Orleans, LA

Genre: Hip-Hop/Rap

Years Active: '90s, '00s, '10s

Having come up in the Hot Boys group alongside superstar Lil Wayne, New Orleans rapper Juvenile is a Southern hip-hop veteran, and a chart-topping one as well, having climbed the U.S. Billboard Hot 100 with his 2004 single "Slow Motion." Born Terius Gray, Juvenile was one of the initial figures involved in New Orleans' "bounce" craze of the early '90s, an uptempo style of hip-hop that combined gangster rap and party music. Besides an affiliation with the bounce group U.N.L.V., Juvenile was featured...
