Awsome

Old Juluka fan - this album moves my soul. Love it - makes me feel great! Love you Johney Glegg!

A treasure

I've been an on-and-off fan of Johnny Clegg for a few decades, and just recently stumbled upon this after seeing him live with his band. His other stuff is fine Western pop with African influences, and very good. This is on a completely different level: stripped down guitar and vocals. It feels very authentic. One lovely melody follows another. It's no wonder these are his favorite Zulu street guitar songs, because they are all simply wonderful to listen to. With half the year to go, I feel that I can safely say I won't hear another album I like more this year.
