A much-loved producer and founding member of New York's legendary Diggin’ In the Crates crew, Showbiz has been doing his thing for over 20 years now, crafting classics for just about every golden-era NYC MC you can think of. KRS-One is one of the best known, most influential, and insanely prolific rappers to ever clutch a microphone, constantly putting out new material, mentoring young artists, giving crazy interviews, and putting on arguably the best live rap performances ever. On Godsville, the two join forces for an all new album recorded at Premier's HeadQcourterz studio (the former D&D). They've worked together several times before (most notably on the 1993 classic "Sound Of Da Police"), and are clearly comfortable in the lab, with KRS' forceful flow sounding very at home over Show's chunky drums and subtle instrumentation. Though younger listeners may be less impressed by this pairing of true hip-hop pioneers, older heads who grew up in the '80s and '90s will be psyched.
