A Woman that Found Her Voice

Rhonda was quite impressive on her live debut several years ago. A blend of Abbey Lincoln and shades of Jill Scott, certainly being married to highly respected jazz pianist, Rodney Kendrick further exposed her innate talent derived from her legendary parents.
As far back as 1979, she boldly joined her mother on "Reach Out and Touch (Somebody's Hands) to her appearance on Diana's critical and commercial jazz special, "Stolen Moments" with a work in progress, "It's Alright With Me".
Rhonda spent much of the early nineties under the tutelage of her husband.
We had to wait far too long after her fine debut, "Rhonda Ross Live!"
Here's another collection of original songs once again showcasing tons of potential.

WOW

One of the best releases in this genre in a long time. Rhonda isn't just a singer. She's a poet, an activist, she has something to actually say. She layers in what's going on in the world with love and emotion. Can't get enough!
