Punk Has Evolved

My god people, punk has evolved into screamo. Like it or not, it has. Did you really expect an appearence by Minor Threat on this disc? How about The Misfits? The Dead Kennedys? Punk is Screamo now. No one is stoping you from reveling in the past, but don't hate on the present. Punk Goes Pop is a much catchier title than Post Hardcore Goes Pop. Just because 100% certified punk isn't on the tracklist anymore, doesnt mean that the new stuff is garbage. All you punk fans who flock to one of these CDs every time one comes out, just to hate, clearly need a new hobby.

As for the songs, most of the covers are pretty good. Always love hearing stuff like this.
Keeps me from getting bored. The best songs are Down by Breathe Carolina and Right Now by Asking Alexandria. That's just my opinion though.

Too Much Screamo

I was really looking forwards to this CD, and I may come to like some of these songs...but seriously, this is way too much Screamo; it ruins the songs. These artists are way better than what they are showing here.

Punk goes pop is written by god.
