Album Review

After some fairly soporific early-'80s releases for MCA, this album re-energized Bland's recording fortunes. The Larry Addison-penned title track caught on with blues-soul fans, making it to the middle reaches of the R&B charts as a single.

To me the song "Members Only" is the ultimate Bobby Blue Bland. I remember my mom and her friends jamming on this song back in the day. No blues collection is worth a nickle without it.

A song to remember

I first heard this song when I was a kid. It’s almost 25 years later that I begun to relate to it - with my first ever broken heart and a whiskey on the other hand.
Nice song, to relax and figure stuff out. A must have on any collection.
