Album Review

Dove Award-winning alternative pop/rock/Christian rap outfit dc Talk has been spreading the good word since 1988, so it comes as no surprise that 2009's Ultimate Collection pretty much lives up to its name. While most listeners will find 2007's 16-track Greatest Hits compilation a more than ample retrospective, die-hard fans who have followed the group's genre-defying career since its inception will revel in the Ultimate Collection's two-disc, 24-track holy glow, which boasts some of the band's best work including "Supernatural," "Jesus Freak," and "Jesus Is Just Alright with Me."

Customer Reviews

Wow! They really nailed it!!

Love this album! They included all the bestest songs from 4 DC Talk albums. Put together nicely. Love DC Talk so much! Wish they would put out a new album. Still praying for it!! Christ is clearly King in their music. They ain't ashamed of Him and you shouldn't be either!

Genius and original for modern Christian music

I look for one day for these guys to reunite once again. They started the roots of today's modern Christian music...by far "the red letters "is the best track

Awesome!

This is the ULTIMATE collection! My favorite songs are Say the Words (Now), Consume Me, Jesus is Just Alright and Jesus Freak, of course! Wish they were still together. TobyMac is my favorite outcome of their split.
