iTunes Review

One of hip-hop's most popular artists today, Kid Cudi has gone from a buzzworthy blogger's darling to mainstream pop sensation in just five years. Debuting in 2008 with his mixtape A Kid Named Cudi, he was mentored by Kanye West and Jay-Z, who used him extensively on their smash albums 808s and Heartbreak and The Blueprint 3. If you're already down with Cudi's ultra-weird style, you're gonna love this.

Great, but could've shortened it

Track 1
Nice intro beat, but not something I'd just put on a playlist

Tracks 2-8
All 10/10 for me. Sick stuff. These 7 (and a few others) make this another awesome cudi album.

Track 9
Another nice beat but same as 1.

Track 10
A very well put together song but cudi isn't in it much.
7/10

Track 11
Very different sound, wasn't really for me.
5/10

Track 12
RZA kills it on this, very good song.
9/10

Track 13
Another stand out with king chip and asap.
10/10

Track 14 and 15
These were just okay for me. Not bad but they just didn't stand out to me
6/10

Track 16
One of my favorites on the album.
10/10

Track 17
Had potential but Michael Bolton just didn't do it for me on this.
6/10

Track 18
Another nice beat but again same as the other two.

So overall I gave it a 8/10 it's a really solid album with a lot of stand out tracks. I feel some could've been taken out but overall good. You gotta respect cudi producing the whole thing himself when he doesn't have much experience and he does a great job on half of the album. Some songs just didn't feel right to me but the ones that did were classic cudi and worth buying. I'm hoping for MOTM3 to feature more cudi producing but also have some others help him out to fill out the album because a few songs just felt like he threw them on to complete the album and ran out of ideas.

Awful

Love Cudi but this is awful

The Resurrection of Scott Mescudi

First track speaks for itself...
