Soon to be Legends

If you are like me and seek out music the breaks the mold, yet you can still sing along and groove to, you've found it here in The Last Bison. This album is musicianship at its finest. Their acoustic sound has a homey and comfortable feel to it. It feels like something from an age past, and still manages to be completely relevant, even progressive. From guitar, mandolin, and banjo, to the classical influence of violin and cello, to more exotic instrumentation like bells, pump organ, and more percussion instruments than one could begin to count---The Last Bison pushes the boundaries as to what instrumentation can be incorporated into mainstream music! Part of what makes this music so incredible is the songwriting. Even with all of its complexity, their music manages to maintain a certain pop sensibility. The melodies are catchy and very singable while bringing a unique sound to the industry. While some may say that their music bears some resemblance to the music of Mumford or the Lumineers, I think they have taken that acoustic sound to a whole new level. I don't say this lightly, but it is the truth… The Last Bison is better! Take my advice- buy this album now! Not only are you going to here some of the most incredible music your ears have ever heard, but you will be able to tell your friends that you knew who The Last Bison was before they became legends.

Great music!

It doesn't matter what type of music you like, this is well crafted, beautiful, and thought provoking music. Buy it. Even though many of the songs have already been released on Quill and Inheritance, the new songs are great. Especially "Take all the Time" and "Sandstone". Okay enough of the reading, buy the album now and if you have the opportunity see The Last Bison live because they are even better in person!
