Best of Bon Jovi

Bon Jovi is one of the greatest bands ever to have formed and the music here proves that as these are their best hits!
Highly recommend this album!!!

Nothing Special Here

Unlike some of the other reviews, I had no problem previewing this ablum, and I'm glad I did--would have been a waste of $10 to download (and believe me, it hurts to say that). I've been a Bon Jovi fan since I was a kid; with the exception of this album, I own everything they've put out. An accurate title for this would be Bon Jovi's Greatest Hits Live, although there are a few not as well known songs on here too. Aside from the fact that these songs sound weak in comparison to the studio recordings, the main issue I have with this album is that while all of the songs are live, they aren't all from one show, or even from a block of shows. When I listen to a live album, I like to feel as if my ears at least are at the show. (FYI, a band that has two FANTASTIC live albums is Dropkick Murphys). Basically, I prefer to hear one song flow into another, I like to hear the band's interaction with its fans between songs, etc., etc. It sounds like with this album, you'll be getting what is basically a mixed CD of live songs. Not bad, but not my preference; I'd say that if you don't already own a Bon Jovi studio album, try one of those before this.

As the times changed, so did the band's sound. They...
