Slightly disappointed. Was expecting a better flow. On (Music From A Farther Room) Lucia made the violin absolutely sing from her soul. Didn't feel it with this one. Didn't care for the diary reading. Those things are only amusing to the individual who wrote them in the first place. Felt like it was just a way to add minutes to the CD. Still believe Lucia has amazing talent and not at all sorry I purchased the CD, was just expecting it to knock your socks off like the first album.

From the moment that you press the play button on Lucia's second album you're hooked. Lucia is an exceptional violinist as well as person and in this album Lucia seems to expose more of herself into this album. While "Music From a Farther Room" (which is fantastic also by the way, go get that!!) was fantastic as well, Interlude weaves personal narratives into music that Lucia has both arranged and produced making it uniquely herself. A bit different from her first album, but Lucia doesn't disappointed at all. Lucia, you rock! p.s. Make sure to see her on tour with Josh Groban where she brings the house down everytime. Helena

At Lucia's request, "track four sounds like severely different but exceptionally vague bananas." Seriously though, this album is a great follow up to "Music From A Farther Room." The mix of musical genres is so great, it's one of the things I love about Lucia. She's not afraid to play unconventional pieces on a typically classical instrument. My favorite tracks are "Desired Constellation" (a Bjork cover!), Brooklyn-Queens Expressway and Everything Must Change. As can be expected, her playing is flawless and very emotional. I would recommend this album 100%
