what to say about this first full length from into another? listen to it yourself. if you didn't experience this band, you missed out! DEF pick this up, and while your at it get some creepy eepy. too bad i-tunes doesn't offer ignaurus....>for real, son!


Never knew why this band never exploded. Seemless, such a great album. A must for any library.

Pretty good for a first album

This was Into Another's first album. The first and fifth songs are pretty experimental sounding and the rest of the tracks are pretty solid. The second half is better than the first, though, especially "While I Die" and "Dare Me." Once the album "Ignaurus" shows up on the Music Store, get that, it's their best.

Into Another's music was not easily categorized. At once hard rock, grunge, alternative, and post-punk, the band's arresting melodies collided with their stop-and-go rhythms. They added to that a guitar wizardry steeped more deeply in classic heavy metal bands like Iron Maiden than the New York City hardcore scene that nurtured half of the band's membership early on, and an esoteric, far-reaching lyrical scope delivered skillfully by Richie Birkenhead's silky banshee wail.
