Just an amazing band I love everything about them if you did a song with the lead singer of Adestria I'm sure it would be just the best song ever just saying haha

This is METAL

The day this ep came out in may I was randomly searching the metal chart for a good band, and I sure found it. I listened to the preview of I, the creator and bought Into the deep and the clocks single that minute. The singer James has in my opinion the best unclean vocals and screams I have ever heard. He is a really good songwriter and the lyrics are incredible. The guitars and drums are spot on and the overall sound is great. There isn't a weak member in the whole band. Every song on this ep is good and 7 months later not a week has gone by I haven't listened to this ep. I bought the cd when it came out in November which has taming lions and clocks on it plus a song they played live, one of there first songs No strings, plus an acoustic version of taming lions. Every song these guys have out is good and it was so worth buying the physical album. They didn't even have a record deal back in may and you could only get the cd on iTunes. These guys are gonna make it, hopefully they'll start touring soon! Every song here is great but my favorites are I, the creator blue lungs and catching flames. BUY THIS ALBUM !!!

album is great, but check the song CLOCKS out

Clocks is not available on this CD but by far the best song they made, so check it out and if you like it then pick up the album. These guys can go hard like bmth and clean like underoath use to. Great band

Genre: Metal

Years Active: '10s

A propulsive and forward-thinking progressive metalcore unit from Birmingham, England, Oceans Ate Alaska formed in 2011 around the talents of James Harrison (vocals), James Kennedy (guitar), Adam Zytkiewicz (guitar), Mike Stanton (bass), and Chris Turner (drums). Taking their name from a mega-tsunami that laid waste to Alaska's coastline in 1958, the hard-hitting quintet's aural assault is as emotionally charged as it sonically pulverizing, invoking names like Born of Osiris, Asking Alexandria,...
