The best yet

This album is amazing, it blew me away. The vocals are stunning and the musicians beautifully displayed their talent in each song. If you're looking for an album that is extraordinary, well made and unique with deep, well written lyrics, you're going to want this album.

The Sea

This is honestly the first 5-star rating I have given in a LONG while. I'm loving everything about this band; the sound, the originality and the label, all the makings of greatness are present. The fact that they are signed with Facedown for this record is completely amazing, and I think it was a great move to make. Attalus isn't a hard band by any means, in fact they sound like a slightly harder House Of Heroes or The Classic Crime sometimes. I highly recommend this album to almost anyone, it's art at its finest. Into The Sea has been a welcome dash of variety to my library.

If Thrice, The Classic Crime, and House of Heroes had a baby...

...it would be a beast of a man child, born walking out of the womb, with hair on his chest, a full beard, and as he walked upon muscular legs he'd give a full throated roar that would sound something like Attalus.

But seriously, It usually takes a lot for new bands/musicians to get my attention as i listen to so much music, but hey, Color me impressed with "Into the Sea" because they've got my attention.

Favorite track at the moment is "Sirens", with a few other standouts being, "Man, O Shipwreck", "Step Out", "Breathe Before the Plunge", “O the Depth”, and "Death Be not Proud". There's a little something for everyone though, great dynamic music, deep lyrics, melodies, well placed screams, musical muscle, hypnotic piano, you name it, it's here.

I highly recommend giving this one a try! It's without a doubt going to finish 2015 in my top 10 releases of the year.
