This double-album tour de force was a notable statement of stylistic versatility from the jazz keyboardist. The first set features his suave acoustic trio playing originals (and Monk). On the second, Glasper switches to Rhodes and plays with his R&B fusion Experiment ensemble (also suave—and expert with Hancock’s “Butterfly”).
