Customer Reviews

Out of all the music I've bought on iTunes, I've never been compelled to take the time to rate and write a review as I am tonight. I just downloaded this album a couple of hours ago and am already about to play it for a second time.

Excellent work, Justin. Looking forward to a second album!

I heard the song "A Day in the Life" on our local radio station today, WDNA, Miami. I raced home to check the playlist to see who this was by. It had to be someone who was playing for decades, I thought... whiffs of Keith Jarrett I felt. And later, I searched for Justin's bio and was instantaneously intrigued. What talent, what maturity in his playing...and what a story of adversity and overcoming a challenge that is greater than more of us will ever know.

In short, Buy this album everyone!!!!! Give this guy the push to get notoriety. He has attracted luminaries like Clark Terry, Mulgrew Miller, Wynton Marsalis...and he will become a luminary in his life. Go Justin! We want more of your music! You are sheer brilliance.

Look out, Bill Evans, Brad Mehldau, Keith Jarrett!

This young man has it. He will be -- not could be, WILL be -- one of the greats in jazz piano. And this his first album will be one jazz lovers and collectors will cherish. Buy it.

By the time he was six years old, Kauflin was already playing concerts and, on several occasions, even leading an orchestra. However, it was also around this time that he was diagnosed with a rare eye disease that would leave him completely blind by age eleven. Undeterred,...
