Dis Unnu fi 'Ear

A pivotal cd for the next phase of music evolution. Stereotyp linking with Al' Haca Soundsystem is like Lee Perry hanging out at a vampire party from the intro scene to the Blade movies. A well schooled sound engineer Steretyp worked with the likes of Kruder and Dorfmeister before claiming his own fame via both art and production. This album finds him long side the Viennese sound system Al Haca. Al Haca puts on a hell of a live show using all the ableton live and echo chambers fx of a jamaican soundsystem. Their music is deeply rooted in a dancehall 3000 sense but so free format that it cant be pigeon-holed. You'll hear elements of dancehall and dub but then freestyle and hip hop, garage, roots, jungle... These boys dont care. If it vibez it's getting dubbed live. Up There is rinsing it dancehall nights in NYC. Blaze an Cook available as a single with some great remixes. With guests like Frisco and Lady Saw grant authencity if not flat out authority to the sound and nexx level dub like Synthesis, its a must check for those that dun know.
