Good post punk music.

I've been looking for bands like this for a little while. Gordon Moakes and Paul Mullen first collaborated on a yourcodenameismilo song that they had to make in 12 hours. After the result they decided to make some songs together.
This is my personal favorite side project to come out of Bloc Party's hiatus. Kele has a great album, The Boxer. But I've never been too particular on electro house. It's still a great album, and you should check that out. Russell Lissack's project Pin Me Down is alright. More electro, but not as good as Kele. The only good part about it is his guitar playing throughout the songs.
Gordon Moakes was the bassists for bloc party, which anyone who buys young legionnaire probably knows already, and he does a good job at layering the fast riffs Paul Mullen plays. The drumming by Will Bowerman, who plays for la roux is great. Gives it a lot of energy along with the other instruments. Paul Mullen's vocals is another elements that give the band that post punk sound. Its raw, gravely, and able to shout it out loud. I've been waiting for an Ep or album to come out from young legionnaire. Or some bands with a sound like them. Summer's Stellar Gaze is a good example. If anyone knows of bands who sound like young legionnaire, write them in your review.
I was pleased when I searched for bloc party side projects and found this. Keep up the good work.

When the two found both of their main gigs on hiatus for the winter, they decided to start their own project, recruiting La Roux’s touring drummer Will Bowerman to handle percussion duties. During the summer of the following year the band released its first...
