Real Americana

I've played tracks from this on my weekly radio show and podcast, The Great American Music Hour (available on iTunes). To me there's no music more American than Tulsa Drone. Without words they convey more feeling and emotion than most pop music. "Chiaroscuro" could be a Crazy Horse outtake; "Honcho "Toro" sounds like the long lost these to some obscure Spaghetti Western. Plus these guys are from Richmond, VA, where I live, so I give them five stars.

dark and powerful

tulsa drone says their music could be the "soundtrack from a dark movie about trains and rivers" - what a great description. visualize that line. it fits the album. great music. download it.

All aficionado's of Post Rock should give this album a listen.
