Customer Reviews

It has changed, but maybe not for the worse

I know it's too early to say "many" people are writing bad reviews, but the majority that have been posted so far, are negative. Sure this isn't going to be my new favorite ISMFOF song, but I definitely enjoy it. They have changed their screams a bit, and I think they sound quite smoother. Not only is it smoother smoother, but they kept most their unique scream style. Their singing has also changed. Yes it has more auto-tune, it is still lovely singing though. People need to stop pointing out it has changed though. The band knows it is different, because they changed it on purpose. Many bands go through big changes because they want to sound different and not release the same album ten times. I don't think ISMFOF has sold-out or reached its dying point yet. I don't think it will for quite a while. I will admit I am hoping other songs in the album will be better than this one... Well 5 stars and definitely looking forward to the new album :)

Not always a fan of ISMFOF

But this has my approval!

Okay but where is the change?

ISMFOF came out strong with Slaughter, although not every song on the album was 'set to repeat' material. With It Comes Naturally, they have marked the road to Astral Rejection (their next album). But it seems like this first single is one of the songs from Slaughter that you would listen to twice and forget about. Let's hope that ISMFOF will have some songs that were as catchy as Things that Rhyme With Orange.

Formed in 2007 by Matt Mehana and Nabil Moo, the Miami, Florida group found an audience quickly with their cover of Soulja Boy’s “Crank That,” introducing the world at large to their chopped-up sound. The following year, the pair released the I Set My Friends on Fire EP, which eventually led to a deal with indie giant Epitaph for their debut full-length,...
