This is the instrumental mix from Disney's film adaptation of Stephen Sondheim's musical Into the Woods. While most fans will likely want to use it as a karaoke-style singalong, it also brings into focus the clever, lush orchestrations by Jonathan Tunick, who arranged both the original Broadway production and the more elaborate 2014 film score. It features the same playlist as the original vocal version.

Why a Partial Album

This is one of Sondheim's best. Why is it only released as a partial album?


Why is this only a partial album? I don't want the revival cast, but I also don't want to miss out on some of the songs.


i love into the fact, it is the musical that introduced me to sondheim! i am thrilled that itunes has the origianal cast now (the revival was AWFUL!), but there is a different actor playing Jack on this album than from the Original original cast, and he is awful! still, this is a great musical.
