Highly recommended - Rock on Lustra!

This album is Lustra at its best. They have a sound that is distinctly their own - a mostly punk rock feel with more standard rock guitar riffs, melodic vocals and original lyrics at times humorous, at times heartfelt, always poetic. Compared to "Left for Dead", this has more of a hard rock feel, maybe influence of LA, but this works well with the vocals, which are refreshingly lacking in that nasal whiny quality that seems so popular in indie rock. It is well worth downloading the whole album. The first three tracks stand out, especially 'Dinosaur', but the more I listen, the more the others grow on me. In particular, 'Sink In Time' has a catchy chord melody and the mixing/production creates a layering of sound that really works. Overall, a great album from a great band.

Better than all the other records. Combines the pop sensibility with a hard edge and nicely written songs. 'Dinosaur' and 'Kids in Makeup' rock.

uh.. no
