True Blues - Slide Guitar at its Best!

Ron Thompson is a master of the blues slide guitar. He perfected his performing skills while working as guitarist with the great John Lee Hooker. This collection of blues songs shows Ron deep in the groove - working his sparse band to reveal a true blues innovator. Ron Thompson will tell you that these studio recordings don't do his craft justice - that may be true if you have seen him perform. But it you haven't, then buy these songs and sit back and listen to a master perform. Happy listening from a fan.
