Worth Buying - An Awesome Band Live

I am quite happy to see a good mix of songs from both old and new albums alike on this EP. Every live track that I have listened to by this band does not disappoint, although it is not complete without the light show that complements such powerful songs. "Crack the Shutters" is the top-selling song from thier new album, "A Hundred Million Suns". Also from that album is "What If This Storm Ends?" part one of the sixteen-minute finale "The Lighning Strike". "Make This Go On Forever" is one of my personal favorites from this EP as is "Shut Your Eyes", a staple for most Snow Patrol gigs. I wish they also could put out live versions of both "Open Your Eyes" and "Disaster Button" (Edited, of course), and a couple live videos to show both the power and finesse that Snow Patrol has. But otherwise, it is an amazing live performance.

Really Good

This is a great EP. The Highlight to me is "What if the Storm Ends." This song was a part of "Lightning Strike" on their album "A Hundred Million Suns." Its such a great song with Gary Lightbody singing this song GREAT and it also has awesome instrumentals. The opening piano really sets the tone. My other favorite songs from this EP are "Crack the Shutters" and "Chasing Cars." Lightbody was great with his vocals on "Chasing Cars." I really suggest buying the whole deal. Its worth it!

After failing to secure an international audience for nearly ten years, Snow Patrol broke into the mainstream with 2003's Final Straw, a mega-selling album that showcased the band's fondness for epic, melancholic rock. The group had originally stuck closer to the pop realm, releasing quirky albums that took more cues from Belle & Sebastian than Coldplay (to whom the band would later draw many comparisons). Final Straw proved to be a turning point, however, paving...
