a singular voice and talent

The trail that led me to Scott Walker's music was interesting.... Watching Absolutely Fabulous many years ago, his name and song Jackie (originated by Jacques Brel: La Cahnson de Jacky) were mentioned.... then over the closing credits the song was played..... That voice and music resonated in my head and I had to find out who this person was... Scott Walker possesses something missing from virtually singer today.

I have been waiting patiently,,,,,,

I have been waiting patiently for these songs to come out. His voice is so soulful. Just like Bill Medley of the Rightgeous Brothers. The Sun Ain't Gonna Shine Anymore is my favorite. See, patience does pays off.

Scott is great but ......

why cant I get his version of Dylan's Love Minus Zero - that was on the first US "Introducing the Walker Brothers" album... The Walker Brothers version is the best interpretation of that song bar none but no one seems to recognize that. Whoever owns the rights should release that album with its original track list!

They enjoyed a couple of years of massive success there (and a couple of hits...
