Great album from a great Chicago band.

The highlights are many... Jackson Pollack, I Pinch Myself and Cranes are my favorite. If your a fan of Modest Mouse, Built To Spill or Midwest Indie rock give it a try. I have a lot of memories built around these songs and that makes them great for me. Do yourself a favor and build your own memories to the album.

This band has a lot going for it. The songs on this album contain so much that you can't help but be swept up by all that's going on. They way the songs come together, like in "I Pinch Myself," make you sit and relish in the large sound that has been created for you. On the flip side, the band also pares it down to simple riffs and drums in parts of songs like in "Good Morning Little Bird" and "Stick and Carrot." The only thing I have against this album, although being great in it's individuality, is that there is so much stuff happening in a lot of the songs that you can tend to get lost every now and then. But, that being said, it's also a treat to hear the musical diversity from song to song. This is a really good album that's well worth a 9 dollar price tag. Buy it now!
