Kiss Kiss Doesn't Miss Miss

Kiss Kiss has probally become my favorite band. This release has been my favorite for a very long time, with most modern music selling out to bring in more fans. Kiss Kiss doesn't do that at all. This long-waited release has been much anticipated by the many fans which had been increased due to purevolume features and smartpunk contests. Joshua Benash has talked to me, and he is a very kind person, as are the rest of the band. This band has potential, and I hope it can be exposed through their first full length LP, available on CD in Febuary 2007, and a limited tour edition of 1000 available at shows. THIS IS THE BEST ALBUM OF THE YEAR!

WOW

Okay, I bought MCR's I Brought You My Bullets, You Brought Me Your Love and it came witha sampler disc! I popped it into the CD player and i went throught the songs! The one that hit me the most was Satellite by Kiss Kiss. This album is also good, but if you want to start out witha good track, buy Satellite!

Music rarely gets this good

As an avid fan of the energized and raw live show that Kiss Kiss puts on, I was slightly skeptical how these tracks that I have come to love would be translated when put in album form. Needless to say, all my expectations were blown away. The cd starts off with "Janet", which begins quietly and slowly and then jolts the listener into the manic yet elegant style that is Kiss Kiss. Other tracks like "Vagabond" and "Stay the Day" slow things down impeccably, letting Josh's vocals really take the reins. From the violin-keyboard 'chase' in "The Cats in Your House" to the creepy carnival vibe of "Machines", the musical composition really shines through. The instruments are given a life of their own, rather than pushed back in favor of vocals, as most bands do. This is what makes Kiss Kiss...Kiss Kiss. There aren't many bands like Kiss Kiss. And that is a great thing. And a good reason to check them out.

Kiss Kiss are an experimental indie rock band based in New York City.
