Customer Reviews

Wow, can this guy play the erhu! The music is admittedly too westernized to be considered strictly "traditional",but the playing here is great in its own right. Lei Qiang really makes the erhu sing.

this music is phenomenal

Relaxing and astounding

The erhu is certainly an amazing instrument and Lei Qiang really pushes forward the spirit of China and some of its music. I would even say that his music is very inspirational, as it incites a passionate, creative, and emotional side in me. How Lei Qiang combines the erhu with other familiar chinese instruments is noteworthy, and there's never really too much of any one instrument(aside from the erhu, of course) crowding in or dragging on, and the music flows softly and gently, and isn't a headache to listen through. His music is catchy and has much, much replay value. I would say his music is a must-have for those interested in Chinese music.
