The best band you've never heard of.

MGB has always been a commercial success in Canada, but never really achieved that same level of success here in the States. Luckily, we got this gem of an American release of Beautiful Midnight (which is really a cross between the Canadian version of BM and an earlier release, Underdogs – also a killer release), which is worth every penny of the $10.86 it's going for.

Luckily for everyone stateside who use the iTMS for their music needs, you can purchase many of MGB's best tracks in the Matthew Good greatest hits collection, In A Coma: Greatest Hits 1995-2005. (search for Matthew Good to find it)

Stand-out tracks: Giant, Hello Time Bomb, Load Me Up, Failing the Rorschach Test

One of the best albums of the 90s

This album is by far one of the best of the 90s. Between Matt's powerful lyrics and the beautiful melodies in each song the ablum is hard to beat. There are few CDs that I have heard end to end that I don't get tired of any one song. I mean this CD was released what almost 7 years ago yet I still listen to songs on it more often than not. Running for Home was by far the best ending of a CD in years, such a powerful song that you can feel like Matt's in the room singing it to you, so amazing. I also recommend getting In A Coma, but its better to buy the deluxe version from Maple Music to get the greatest hits with the DVD which has the videos and such for a few bucks more. Enjoy.

Buy this album. Now. Don't read this, just buy the album.

To those of you who are not Canadian, or have not spent much time in Canada, you probably have no idea who Matt Good is, but this is one of the best rock albums released this decade. Songs and lyrics echo through your head for months, and I don't just mean the singles, but every song.
