First I Have Heard Of Them

I don't know of this band, Gentleman Reg or any of it's other music, but I loved the album cover and thought I would give it a try. Turns out, its Ok. Here is a 1-10 review on my take of the songs Coastline: 9, One of the best on the album To Some It Comes Easy: 4, the vocals on this one are a little odd You Can't Get It Back: 7, it sounds like something by Ok Go, but still good When Heroes Change Professions: 5, it's a song that should be a fast song turned into a slow song How We Exit: 8, another one I really like. It's catchy and has more than one twist Rewind: 8, the best slow song on the album, It's really beautiful We're In A Thunderstorm: 5, has a really cool beat, but it gets a little irritating Falling Back: 6, it's a good classic indie song, I guess it's just not my style Oh My God: 8, I love songs that sound like they are being performed live when they are not and this is one of those Everlong: 5, this one again I do not like the way the vocals sound Rudy: 7, the reason I like this song is because it sounds like a rock song from the '70's Pathfinder: 7, Good lyrics, good song overall, not GREAT. Averaged: about 6.5 or 7, i'd say that pretty much sums up my thoughts on this album

To Some It Comes Easy

Everyone buy "To Some It Comes Easy." It is the best song on the album. Not amazing the first time, but it really really grows on you. LOVE IT.

Years Active: '00s

Born in Trenton, Ontario, and raised in nearby Guelph, the quirky singer/songwriter Reg Vermue moved to Toronto during his twenties to pursue music. He involved himself with Canadian collectives like Broken Social Scene and Hidden Cameras, the latter of which allowed him to openly express his own gay politics, but ultimately turned the most heads as a solo artist. Recording under the name Gentleman Reg with a crack team of studio musicians (including the Unicorns' Jaime Thompson and future Arcade...
