Yet Another Astounding Performance from Linkin Park

Linkin Park NEVER fails to put on a great show and they prove it in their new CD/DVD, "Road to Revolution". I recommend buying this album, but only if you do like the band and if you're at least somewhat familiar with their material. There's nothing new here, but it's nice to listen to this album if you didn't get a taste of them on the Projekt Revolution tour, or if you wish to reminisce of the day (or night) that you saw them. Make sure to check out the video performance, this is well-worth the $20 you spend on it. The live versions of the songs have a bit of a twist to them. In this performance, Mike does an acapella version of "Hands Held High" and if you've seen/heard any other Projekt Revolution performances, you'll know that LP always integrates amazing intros and transitions, which I see as a bonus... Conclusively, get this album, witness the amazing sound of these guys performing live, and enjoy your well-spent money.

Linkin Park, Don't compare them to other bands

I gotta say, as soon as I saw this my jaw literally dropped. I've loved Linkin Park for as long as I can remember and this, every single song, does not disappoint. Vocals are simply amazing and I can't wait til I can buy this baby! I'd just like to get another point in though, You really can't compare Linkin Park to other bands as I've seen in other reviews. Linkin Park is their own band and so are the others. This is a review for Linkin Park's performance, not anyone else's. Check yes if you agree

SO, SO TIRED OF THESE SELLOUTS

Linkin Park was amazing... Back when Hybrid Theory came out. Since then, Its been nothing but producer driven albums along with 2 or 3 remakes of each song plus a few live albums of the same songs that have already been released 5 times before. Talk about milking music for all that it is worth. And people don't seem to mind that they are basically paying hard earned money for the same stuff over and over again. Not to mention their constant touring of Europe... Not even keeping their roots where the entire LP fanbase was started. In reality, Linkin Park has only released 3 real albums in the last ten years and they have completely changed what made them different and unique the whole way through.

Biography

Formed: 1996 in Los Angeles, CA

Genre: Alternative

Years Active: '90s, '00s, '10s

Although rooted in alternative metal, Linkin Park became one of the most successful acts of the 2000s by welcoming elements of hip-hop, modern rock, and atmospheric electronica into their music. The band's rise was indebted to the aggressive rap-rock movement made popular by the likes of Korn and Limp Bizkit, a movement that paired grunge's alienation with a bold, buzzing soundtrack. Linkin Park added a unique spin to that formula, however, focusing as much on the vocal interplay between singer Chester...
