Customer Reviews

the worst album ever made by dylan or the grateful dead

it's been said before; this album does neither the dead or dylan any justice. it in no way reperesents what the dead are capable of live! i LOVE the grateful dead and dylan is great too, but take it from me, you be better off with just about anything else by either artist. if you want to check out some live dylan, i recommend before the flood. for the dead, europe '72, live dead, or skull and roses. STEER CLEAR OF THIS.

People are you insane!?

This is incredible. Bob Dylan and the Grateful dead! You cant get more iconic. This is a live album and I feel like I'm there. It's sheer psychedelic magic!

Re: Enough with the smack talking!!!

Seems some of the reviews here are just being negative. Now I'm not about to say "it's the greatest album ever", or "oh man this is hot" etc. But one thing is for sure, it's not all anywhere near bad. Besides, one thing is for sure, "I Want You" & "Knockin' On Heaven's Door" are exemplarly stand outs of when the Dead backed up Dylan. Admittingly enough, do what I did (if you don't want the whole album) buy those two songs and leave the rest. I rate those two songs ***** & the rest about ** so I'll give the album the average... ***
