Quite good, but they haven't reached their potential.

Many symphonic metal bands regurgitate the same style of music over and over until one can barely tell one band from another. Not Coronatus. They're dynamic; they have a unique, evolving sound that is quite different from most other symphonic metal bands. The folk aspect works well, and I hope they contnue to build on that more in their next release. One of my main complaints about Coronatus' previous albums was the lyrics in their English songs, something that is still somewhat present in this album. The English songs simply aren't very well written, which is unfortunate.

I sincerely hope that Coronatus does not get complacent in their next album. They haven't come anywhere near to realizing their full potential. They need to keep pushing themselves to make better and better music. It may take a few more albums, but I see no reason why they can't be one of the top tier symphonic metal bands, right behind Epica, Nightwish, Within Temptation, and a few others. They've got a unique spin on the genre with the two vocalists, and the somewhat folk sound of this album also helps to set them apart from the rest of the crowd.

So, in closing, I give this album, as well as this band, four stars. They have an interesting, developing sound that should get better as they gain experience. I recommend this album as well as their previous two, and I would also keep a close eye on this band. They have potential to be great.

Finally coming together even more

I would have to say this release is their best yet. It involves a more folk/celtic aspect, but I think it suits them well.
The 2 singers have incorporated more choirs, in which in sync with them is a priceless sounds to hear.
I would give this album a try.
