Album Review

If such a genre as stadium-screamo exists, Enter Shakari is its definitive spokesband, churning out nu-metal riffage and anthemic post-hardcore epics that have made them a major draw in the U.K. On their second album, they expand from their chart-busting debut in subtle ways. The single "Juggernauts" is a dreamy, psychedelic number bookended by explosive electro passages. "Antwerpen" is nothing less than a prog metal journey, as ambitious as it is emotionally volatile. The second single, "No Sleep Tonight," is an emo mini-opera about class warfare that reads like the Jam's "Down in the Tube Station at Midnight" from the muggers' point of view. The album as a whole is an imaginative and muscular mingling of punk, metal, and pop.

AMAZAZING

I have been waiting for this CD since i first heard that they were making a new CD. It is amazing!! It's way better than Take to the Skies which was also a very good CD. They really show their potential in this CD. They just need to keep it up. If you like post-hardcore typa music than you are gunna love this album. Juggernauts is on the top 40 in England and i'm pretty sure everyone can tell why.

very dissapointed, completely changed

when i heard that enter shikari was going to release another album, i was really excited. i really wanted to hear their awesome screams, and trance like rhythms, if you're looking for that. well im sorry to say its not here. from their singles posted around the web that i heard, i was disspointed and hoped that it was jus a few songs that had changed in style, i was wrong QQ. its not a bad album, just very different then what they used to be.

Common Excellence

I was skeptic at first when I compared some singles to Take To the Skies, but this album changed my mind 180 degrees. I <3 Enter Shikari so hard.
