ready, set... relax

Julie Blue has long been one of my favorite albums and one of my most recomended albums. Every so often I come across an album that reminds me of a certain season, or time of the year. This album reminds me of a lazy summer's day with a warm wind blowing that softly ruffles the leaves of the trees around you as you lay on your back in the grass just staring up at the blue sky that is welcoming some fluffy white clouds. Compared to his other major albums this is probably the most acoustic of the bunch. The production is a little raw and I think it's supposed to be like that to convey the simplicity of his work. This is great background music for almost all occasions. I recomend Skinny Dippin Girl and I Love the Rain the Most, however all the songs are very chill and enjoyable.

i think wash away, was in lost? was it? anyways this album is amazing

Great Music

I heard "Wash Away" through a commercial and instantly decided to find out what else Joe Purdy had to offer. I was blown away with what I heard and bought 3 other of his albums that same day. What could I say, this music has brought great comfort and joy to my life. Thanks for this great album.
